Movie time [Aug. 8th, 2010|09:24 pm]
I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Green Zone today. I generally don't care for Jim Carry movies, but the idea was interesting. I thought the execution was a little lackluster. I caught on fairly quickly... Maybe fifteen minutes in.

I thought it was more interesting in it's exploration into the nature of long term relationships than in the memory erasure stuff, although it is a nice reminder that we really are the sum of our experiences, memories, and thoughts.

Green Zone was more thought provoking than the average action thriller, but I found the premise rather depressing.

I agree about not caring about Jim Carey, but watching Kirsten Dunst jump on a bed ...{bright flash}... I forgot what I was going to say...
